No doubt this was a big goal for Samauto and the company next target is to enter all OEM of Italian production and to carry on proudly a product which can compete with foreign production. Furthermore during the last years the company has established many commercial partnerships with important companies. The new site has been chosen according to the need of better organizing and improving the quality of delivery and customer care. All activities have been concentrated in a sole and bigger space, improving as well the relationship between all employees, from warehouse to offices. This renewing attempt will support the relationship with customers as well with suppliers and will encourage to better face the complex field of logistics and battery supply on domestic market, as well as abroad.
The new site total extension is of almost 12.500 sqm with a 4.000 sqm warehouse divided into two areas: motorcycle batteries and car batteries. Furthermore the new computer system will manage all accounting, marketing and stocking data in the most efficient and well-organized way. Samauto s.r.l. was born in 1984 with the target of becoming an important and tactical referent in Mid and South Italy for the distribution of car batteries. In 1994 Samauto started distributing also motorcycle batteries achieving important goals on the domestic market and abroad. In 2005 it sold more than 1.5 million pcs motorcycle batteries and more than 300.000 pcs of car and truck batteries. Its product is known on the national market with Unibat brand and in 2005 this brand got a big success entering in big and prestigious OEM since the batteries are actually installed as first equipment on BENELLI, BETA, MOTO MORINI, HM bikes, MALAGUTI and DUCATI. Furthermore the new computer system will manage all accounting, marketing and stocking data in the most efficient and well-organized way.
